To solve this issue and help you to mitigate the risks of event cancellation, we have developed partnerships with exclusively Lloyd’s of London A-rated insurers able to support worldwide delivery of our comprehensive package suited to cover all types of events.

This package reduces the consequences of an event cancellation to the ticket agent and supports them in fulfilment of their legal and financial obligations to the ticket holder.

The policy will provide coverage for the gross ticket sales loss arising from the cancellation, disruption or rescheduling of the event resulting from circumstances outside of your control.

Some examples for cancellation include but are not limited to:


Adverse weather conditions for indoor events checked

Industrial action or labour disputes checked

Real life examples

Date: 06/08/2016 Location: Glasgow, UK

The Met Office issued a late night weather warning a gale force winds of up to 60mph were expected in Glasgow. A festival, an open air gig and an evening concert due to take place on the next day around the area had to subsequently be cancelled due to safety concerns despite the open air gig and concert show being sold out. The event organisers had to reschedule the events and had to refund customers who could not attend the reorganised date.

Date: 04/07/2016 Location: Lewes, UK

A live music festival (Lewes Live 2016) which was set to take place over the weekend has had to be cancelled at short notice due to flooding. The event organisers were unable to rearrange the event and took the decision to refund all ticket sales including booking fees.

Date: 14/07/2016 Location: Split, Croatia

The local Met Office in Croatia issued a weather warning forecasting winds to reach up to 74kmh. Due to the safety concerns, the event organisers took the decision to cancel the first day of the festival but continue with the second and third days as planned. Friday & three-day ticket holders were offered a partial refund.
